Pause, Resume, or Cancel Scheduled Email Campaigns in Sparkforge
Open Marketing > Emails, find the scheduled campaign, and use the three-dot menu to Pause, Resume, or Cancel. Pausing lets you edit and restart later; canceling stops the send entirely without deleting the campaign.
Scheduled email campaigns in Sparkforge can be paused, resumed, or canceled from the Email Campaigns page. Use these controls to hold a send while you make edits, restart a paused campaign, or stop a campaign entirely without rebuilding it.
What the controls do
- Pause: temporarily halts the send so you can edit or review.
- Resume: restores a paused campaign. If the original send time has already passed, the campaign sends immediately when resumed.
- Cancel: stops the campaign permanently. The campaign isn't deleted and can still be cloned or edited.
Step-by-step
- Go to Marketing > Emails in the left sidebar.
- Open the Campaigns tab.
- Find the campaign you want under the Scheduled status.
- Click the three-dot menu next to the campaign name.
- Pick Pause, Resume, or Cancel.
Pause a campaign
Choose Pause from the menu. The campaign's status changes to Paused and stays put until you act on it again. Useful when you need to fix copy, verify recipients, or change the schedule.
Resume a campaign
Open the three-dot menu on a paused campaign and choose Resume. If the original send time hasn't passed, it sends as scheduled. If the time has passed, it sends immediately.
Cancel a campaign
Choose Cancel from the menu. The send is stopped permanently, including any RSS or batch emails. The campaign record stays so you can clone it later.
When to use each option
- Pause: you need a window to make last-minute edits before launch.
- Resume: the paused campaign is ready to go.
- Cancel: the send is no longer needed or has unrecoverable errors.
