Email Sending and Scheduling Options in Sparkforge
Sparkforge offers four email delivery methods: Send Now for immediate blasts, Schedule for a fixed date and time, Batch Schedule for staggered large sends, and RSS Schedule for automated feed-driven emails.
Sparkforge gives you four ways to deliver an email campaign. Pick the one that matches the urgency, list size, and content source.
The four delivery methods
- Send Now: immediate delivery for time-sensitive campaigns.
- Schedule: fixed date and time, useful for planned promotions and reminders.
- Batch Schedule: sends in smaller groups over time to protect deliverability on large lists.
- RSS Schedule: auto-generates emails when an RSS feed updates.
Send Now
Use this for flash sales, urgent announcements, and last-minute updates. Recipients receive the email immediately based on their location time zone.
- Choose Send Now from the delivery options.
- Enter Sender Email and an optional Sender Name.
- Add a Subject Line and optional Preview Text.
- Select recipients via Smart List, Tags, Segments, or specific Contacts.
- Click Send.
Schedule
Set a specific date and time when your audience is most likely to engage — useful for event reminders, seasonal promos, and planned campaigns.
- Select Schedule.
- Pick the date and time (uses the location time zone).
- Configure sender details, subject line, and preview text.
- Select recipients and confirm.
Batch Schedule
Batch Schedule splits a large list into smaller groups delivered over a defined window. This protects deliverability and prevents server throttling.
Validation rules
- End time cannot be earlier than Start time — an inline error blocks sending until fixed.
- Send and Schedule stay disabled while validation errors are present.
- Seconds are not a supported interval. Drafts that previously selected seconds clear automatically.
- Editing Start time confirms with a single OK button.
- Midnight (12:00 AM) boundaries are handled without false errors.
Example
1,000 contacts with batch quantity 100 = 10 rounds of delivery.
Setup
- Select Batch Schedule.
- Define the Start Date and Time.
- Set Batch Quantity and Repeat Interval (hours or days).
- Configure sender, subject, and recipients.
- Save and confirm.
RSS Schedule
RSS Schedule watches a feed and emails subscribers when new items appear — ideal for blog digests and auto-newsletters.
- Select RSS Schedule.
- Enter the RSS Feed URL.
- Pick a frequency (daily, weekly) and time of day.
- Configure sender, subject, and recipients.
- Save and confirm.
Managing scheduled campaigns
- Reschedule: change time or date up to one hour before launch.
- Edit content: update copy mid-schedule for Schedule, Batch, and RSS campaigns.
- Pause or cancel: stop a campaign before it sends.
- Test or preview: validate every send before it goes live.
