How to Manage Customers Inside the Sparkforge Affiliate Manager

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Inside the Sparkforge Affiliate Manager you can delete a customer from an affiliate, disable or re-enable tracking, delete denied commissions, and move customers between affiliates within the same campaign—with optional transfer of unpaid commissions.

The Sparkforge Affiliate Manager gives you four levers for cleaning up and reorganizing the customers attached to an affiliate: delete, disable/enable, delete commissions, and move between affiliates. Use them to keep tracking clean, handle fraudulent signups, and rebalance assignments.

Delete a Customer From an Affiliate

  1. Open the Affiliate page and click the affiliate’s name to open their profile.
  2. Go to the Customers tab and find the customer (use search or filters if needed).
  3. Click Delete next to the customer’s name and confirm.

What happens: the customer is no longer associated with the affiliate, and no future commissions will be generated from them.

Disable or Re-Enable a Customer

  1. Open the affiliate profile and the Customers tab.
  2. Click the three-dot menu next to the customer and choose Disable Customer.
  3. Confirm. The customer’s status tag changes to Disabled.
  4. To re-enable, repeat and choose Enable Customer. Only disabled customers can be re-enabled.

When to disable: a disabled customer stops generating new commissions but stays linked to the affiliate. Useful for handling fraudulent signups or pausing commission tracking without losing the historical link.

Delete a Commission

  1. Open the affiliate profile and go to the Commissions tab.
  2. Find the commission. Only Denied commissions can be deleted, so deny it first if needed.
  3. Open the three-dot menu and click Delete. Confirm.

Move a Customer Between Affiliates

You can reassign a customer to a different affiliate within the same campaign.

  1. Open the source affiliate’s profile.
  2. Scroll to the Customers tab.
  3. Click the three-dot menu next to the customer and choose Move Customer.
  4. Pick the destination affiliate.
  5. Toggle Also move all associated commissions of this Customer to destination Affiliate if you want unpaid commissions to follow.
  6. Click Move to finish.

Important Notes

  • Customers can only move within the same campaign.
  • Only unpaid commissions transfer when you toggle the option on. Paid commissions stay with the original affiliate.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between deleting and disabling a customer?
Delete removes the affiliate association entirely. Disable keeps the link but stops new commissions from being tracked, which is useful for fraudulent signups or temporary pauses.
Can I delete any commission?
No. Only commissions with a Denied status can be deleted. Deny the commission first, then delete it from the three-dot menu.
Will paid commissions move when I move a customer?
No. Only unpaid commissions transfer if you toggle the move-commissions option on. Paid commissions stay with the original affiliate.
Can I move a customer to an affiliate in a different campaign?
No. Moves are restricted to the same campaign. Set up the destination affiliate inside the source campaign first.
Can I re-enable a customer I previously disabled?
Yes. Open the three-dot menu on the disabled customer and choose Enable Customer. Re-enable only works on disabled records, not deleted ones.
