Sparkforge Affiliate Manager FAQs

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Quick answers to the most common Sparkforge Affiliate Manager questions — how affiliates get referral links, customize IDs, view stats, and access the Client Portal.

How do new affiliates get their referral link?

Three options:

  • Default email template — choose one when setting up the campaign and Sparkforge sends it automatically when affiliates join.
  • Automations — send custom email or SMS using the Affiliate Enrolled In Campaign trigger.
  • Affiliate Portal — affiliates can always log in and copy their link from the dashboard.

Can sales be tracked using coupon codes?

Yes. Generate a unique coupon per affiliate. When a customer redeems it, the sale is attributed automatically. This is the workaround for platforms like Instagram where URL sharing is restricted.

Can I customize the referral ID?

Yes. To change an affiliate's referral ID (AM ID):

  1. Open the affiliate profile.
  2. Scroll to Active Referral Links.
  3. Click Customize next to the campaign.
  4. Edit the referral ID in the Referral Link tab.
  5. Save.

Where do affiliates view their performance stats?

On the Dashboard screen of the Client Portal. They see referral links plus counts of leads, customers, and canceled customers.

Where do affiliates see payment info?

The Commission screen in the Client Portal shows total paid, amount owed, and total revenue generated. Affiliates also add their preferred payout method here.

Can affiliates see their leads and customers?

Yes. The Leads/Customers screen in the Client Portal shows everyone who signed up or purchased through the affiliate's links.

What happens if a campaign goes inactive?

Affiliates still see their stats, but the referral link is disabled until the campaign is reactivated.

Can affiliates see why customers canceled?

The portal shows cancellation counts but not reasons. The count alone often surfaces patterns worth investigating.

How often do affiliate stats update?

In real time. Affiliates always see current numbers when they log in.

How do affiliates access the Client Portal?

1. Add the affiliate to a campaign

From the Affiliate Manager, add the affiliate to an active campaign. They get an email invitation to sign up on the MyPortal app.

If the email doesn't arrive, have them check spam and confirm the email on file is correct.

2. Affiliate sign-up

The affiliate clicks the invitation link, lands on a sign-up page, and creates their account.

3. Affiliate login

They log into the MyPortal app with their credentials or a one-time password from sign-up. Forgot password is available.

4. The Affiliate Dashboard

After login, they land on the Dashboard with stats and referral links.

Can I attribute multiple sales to different affiliates?

Yes — manual attribution supports any number of affiliates per program.

Do manual sales need approval?

Yes. They go through the same validation pipeline as link-tracked sales.

Can sales be attributed without the customer's email?

Yes. Manual attribution accepts other identifiers like unique IDs or custom fields.
