How to Create a Custom Dashboard in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

In your sub-account, open Dashboard → Add Dashboard, name it, set permissions, then add widgets via Quick Start, manual add, or edit mode. Save changes when done.

Custom dashboards let you build dedicated reporting views per team — sales, marketing, ops, finance — and schedule the data to land in inboxes. Every Sparkforge plan includes unlimited custom dashboards and reports.

What custom dashboards do

A dashboard is a configurable analytics canvas inside each sub-account. You pick the layout, the widgets, the metrics each widget pulls from, the visual theme, and how often reports get emailed out. Data sources include contacts, appointments, opportunities, calls, and revenue.

Build a dashboard, step by step

1. Open the Dashboard area

Inside your sub-account, go to Dashboard.

2. Add a new dashboard

Click the Dashboard Selection Menu, then + Add Dashboard. If you don't see the button, you're probably in edit mode — switch back to view mode first.

3. Name it

Type a name in the Dashboard Name field.

4. Set permissions

Toggle Private Dashboard on for solo use. Off opens access controls for Agency User, Account Admin, and Account User roles.

5. Confirm

Click Confirm. Your blank dashboard opens.

6. Add widgets

You'll see the Quick Start Widgets page. Three options:

  • Use suggested widgets: pick from What is your goal? or Top used widgets, click Confirm & Add.
  • Add manually: click + Add a widget manually to open the Add New Widget panel.
  • Add via edit mode: click the pencil icon, then + Add Widget.

7. Configure each widget

The Add New Widget panel handles metric, chart type, filters, and styling.

8. Save

Click Save on the widget panel, then ✓ Save Changes on the dashboard to lock in the layout and exit edit mode.
