How to Read Sparkforge Dashboard Pipeline and Conversion Charts

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

The Sparkforge pipeline dashboard shows Opportunities, Pipeline Value, Conversion Rate, Funnel, and Stages Distribution. The Funnel chart assumes leads pass through every prior stage — use Stages Distribution for non-sequential statuses like No Show or Lost.

The pipeline dashboard in Sparkforge breaks down the same lead set five different ways. Each chart answers a different question. Picking the wrong chart leads to confusing numbers — especially around statuses like No Show that don't fit a linear funnel.

Date Range filter

The date range applies to Date Created on the lead. So a range of Jan 24 – Jul 25 shows leads that opted in during that window, not leads that closed during it. Double-click any date in the range picker to drill to a single day.

Opportunities

Total count of leads in OPEN status during the selected date range. Quick health check on volume.

Conversion Rate

Won leads divided by total leads in the pipeline during the range. Sparkforge auto-adds a WON stage at the end of every pipeline — you don't need to create one manually to track wins.

Funnel chart

Shows the percentage of pipeline leads that reached each stage. The chart assumes leads pass through stages sequentially: if a lead is in the University stage, the chart counts them in Elementary and High School too.

This is correct for sequential sales pipelines like Prospect → Survey → Consultation → Purchase. It's misleading for non-sequential statuses like NO SHOW.

Why the Funnel chart misreads NO SHOW

If 1 of 5 leads is in NO SHOW and another is WON, the Funnel chart shows NO SHOW at 40% — because WON leads inherit credit for every stage. The actual NO SHOW rate is 20% (1 of 5 leads). Use Stages Distribution instead.

Stages Distribution chart

Shows the count of leads currently in each stage — no inheritance, no rolling forward. This is the right chart for tracking statuses like NO SHOW, LOST, or any stage that isn't a step on the way to the close.

If you want to track leads that were in NO SHOW historically (not just currently), enable Allow Duplicate Opportunity on the pipeline. The lead leaves an opportunity card behind in NO SHOW even after moving on. Make sure the same setting is enabled on the workflow trigger action Add/Update Opportunity.

Pipeline Value

Sum of monetary values on opportunities in the pipeline. Useful for forecasting if you keep deal values current on your opportunity records.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my Funnel chart show NO SHOW at 40% when only one lead no-showed?
The Funnel chart assumes sequential progression — a lead in WON inherits credit for every prior stage, including NO SHOW. Use the Stages Distribution chart instead for non-sequential statuses.
Do I need to create a WON stage manually?
No. Sparkforge auto-adds the WON stage at the end of every pipeline. Mark a lead WON to count it toward the conversion rate.
What does the Date Range filter on the dashboard apply to?
Date Created on the lead. The numbers reflect leads that opted into the pipeline during the range, not leads that closed during it.
How do I track leads that passed through a non-sequential stage like NO SHOW?
Turn on Allow Duplicate Opportunity on the pipeline and on the Add/Update Opportunity workflow action. The lead leaves an opportunity card in NO SHOW even after advancing.
