How to Edit Content of an Ongoing Email Campaign in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

For ongoing Schedule, Batch Schedule, and RSS Schedule campaigns, use Actions > Update Email Content to fix typos or links before the next execution. The campaign keeps its existing stats.

Spelling mistakes, broken links, or copy changes happen mid-campaign. For ongoing Schedule, Batch Schedule, and RSS Schedule sends, you can update the content without deleting the campaign and losing accumulated stats.

Steps to update campaign content

  1. Go to Marketing > Email and open the Email Campaign tab.
  2. Locate the ongoing campaign — it'll list a Schedule, RSS Schedule, or Batch Schedule with execution dates.
  3. Open the campaign's Actions menu and select Update Email Content.
  4. Make your edits — copy, elements, or links.
  5. Click Save Edits.

Caveat on timing

Edits propagate to future executions, but Sparkforge cannot guarantee a copy change reaches the server before an imminent next execution. If your next batch fires in minutes, expect that round to send the previous version.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which campaign types support content editing mid-flight?
Schedule, Batch Schedule, and RSS Schedule campaigns. Send Now campaigns are already gone by the time you'd want to edit them.
Will I lose stats if I edit content?
No. The campaign keeps its existing performance data. Editing content does not reset analytics.
How close to the next execution can I edit?
Edits as close to execution time may not propagate before the next batch fires. Allow at least a few minutes of buffer to be safe.
Can I change the recipient list mid-campaign?
This action only updates content. To adjust recipients, reschedule the campaign or pause and clone it with the corrected audience.
