The Conversation AI snapshot feature copies a fully configured bot — prompts, actions, web crawler URLs, and FAQs — into a reusable snapshot you can import into other sub-accounts.

Conversation AI snapshots clone a fully configured bot — prompts, actions, training data, and settings — into a reusable package. Import it into another sub-account and skip the manual rebuild.

What gets captured

  • Complete bot structure: actions and prompt-response mappings.
  • All bot settings and configurations.
  • Bot Training web crawler URLs.
  • Custom FAQ data created via the Bot Training tab.

How to create a bot snapshot

  1. Open the Account Snapshots tab in the left navigation.
  2. Click Create New Snapshot.
  3. Pick the source sub-account that contains the bot.
  4. Give the snapshot a descriptive name.
  5. Scroll to the Conversation AI section and review what's listed: bot names, web crawler URLs, custom FAQs.
  6. Click Create Snapshot.

Import behavior

Primary bot auto-assignment

If the destination sub-account does not already have a primary bot, the imported bot is set as primary automatically.

Conflict handling

If a bot with the same name already exists in the destination, you choose:

  • Overwrite — replace the existing bot with the snapshot version.
  • Skip — keep the existing bot and ignore the imported one.

After import

  1. Confirm the bot runs as expected in the destination sub-account.
  2. Manually set it as primary if it did not auto-assign.
  3. Test the training data — web crawler results and FAQs — for accurate responses.
  4. Layer in any sub-account-specific customizations using the Bot Training and Bot Flow Builder tools.
