Connect TikTok to Sparkforge so DMs and comments land in the unified inbox. Use the TikTok Comment on a Reel and Customer Replied triggers to auto-reply, tag, and route leads.

Connect your TikTok account

From the sub-account dashboard, go to Settings > Integrations and connect the TikTok card before building workflows.

Triggers and actions

Triggers

  • TikTok Comment(s) on a Reel — fires on new comments matching your phrase rules.
  • Customer Replied — fires when a contact replies; filter by Reply Channel = TikTok for DM-specific automations.

Actions

  • Reply in Comments — post a public reply under the comment. Configure up to 10 reply variations; one is selected at random per execution.
  • TikTok Interactive Messenger — send an automated DM reply or kick off a nurture sequence.

Set up the Comment(s) on a Reel trigger

  1. In the Workflow builder, click + Add New Trigger and select TikTok - Comment(s) on a Post.
  2. Pick the TikTok account. Leaving it blank applies the trigger to every connected account.
  3. Choose Post Type: Published pulls posts from your business page; Custom takes a URL.
  4. Select the post, or paste the URL.
  5. Set the Match Phrase rule to Contains Phrase or Exact Match. Each commenter is saved as a contact with first and last name.

Set up the Customer Replied trigger for DMs

  1. Add the Customer Replied trigger from the Events category.
  2. Set Reply Channel = TikTok.
  3. Add phrase-match conditions (Contains Phrase or Exact Match) to scope which DMs fire the workflow.

Set up the TikTok Interactive Messenger action

  1. Click + Add New Action and choose TikTok Interactive Messenger.
  2. Enter the message body and save.

Current limitations

  • No Reply Type field (Reply as DM vs. Reply to Comment via DM) — pending TikTok API support.
  • No template support yet.
  • No attachments, buttons, or quick replies yet.

How many reply variations can I add to the Reply in Comments action?
Up to ten. Sparkforge picks one at random each time the action runs.
Can I scope automations to a specific TikTok post?
Yes. In the TikTok Comment(s) on a Reel trigger, choose Published Post and pick the post, or use Custom Post and paste the URL.
Can I connect more than one TikTok account?
Yes. Authorize each account at the sub-account level, then scope your workflow filters to the right account.
Does the TikTok Interactive Messenger support buttons or templates?
Not yet. Templates, buttons, attachments, and quick replies will be added as TikTok's API exposes them.
