Tag contacts directly from the Sparkforge email campaign statistics page based on opens, clicks, and other interactions. Enable auto-tagging to apply tags to future engagement automatically.

You can tag contacts directly from the email campaign statistics page in Sparkforge based on how they engaged — opens, clicks, or other interactions. Auto-tagging keeps segments updated as new engagement comes in, with no manual work after setup.

What's Possible

  • Tag by interaction — apply tags to contacts who opened, clicked, or engaged, straight from the stats view.
  • Auto-tag future interactions — keep tagging new engagement in real time without rebuilding the workflow.
  • Multi-tag — apply more than one tag at once for layered segmentation.
  • Bulk Action logs — keep a clean history of every tag applied.

How to Tag Contacts by Interaction

  1. Go to Marketing → Email Campaigns.
  2. Open a sent campaign, click the three-dot menu, and choose Statistics.
  3. Click Load More to expand interaction data (Opened, Clicked, etc.).
  4. Select an interaction category (e.g., Opened).
  5. Select the contacts to tag.
  6. Click Add Tags, type the tag, and apply.

How to Auto-Tag Future Interactions

  1. Inside an interaction category, choose All.
  2. Click Add Tags and enter the tag(s).
  3. Toggle Auto-Tag Future Interactions on.

From that point forward, any new contact who triggers the same interaction is tagged automatically.

Where to Find the Logs

  • Manual tag actions appear in Tags and Bulk Actions.
  • Auto-tagged contacts won't appear in the Bulk Actions log — they're tagged silently as they interact.
  • Log data is also visible inside the Statistics interface.

Limitations

  • Auto-tagging isn't available for invalid contacts or Order Details lists.
  • This feature only adds tags. Remove tags manually from the Contacts or Tags settings.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I remove tags from this screen?
No. The feature only adds tags. Remove tags from the Contacts area or Tags settings.
What happens if I apply the same tag twice?
Duplicate tags are ignored. A contact will only carry the tag once, regardless of how many times you apply it.
Does this work with A/B test campaigns?
Yes. Tagging works the same way on A/B test campaigns.
How many tags can I apply at once?
Multiple tags, the same way you would in the Contacts section.
Where do I see the tag log?
Manual actions show in Tags and Bulk Actions. Stats-page tags also surface inside the Statistics interface.
