How to Track Email Campaign Conversions in Sparkforge
Sparkforge attributes revenue to the most recent email a contact opened or clicked, within a default 5-day window. You can adjust the window in Marketing > Emails > Campaigns settings.
Sparkforge tracks revenue back to the email that earned it. For every campaign you send, the platform records purchases made by recipients within a defined attribution window so you can see which subject lines, offers, and segments drive sales.
What counts as an email conversion
A conversion happens when a recipient opens or clicks your email and then makes a purchase inside the attribution window. Sparkforge uses last-touch logic, so credit goes to the most recent campaign the contact engaged with.
The default window is 5 days. Open or click on day 1, purchase on day 4 — the email gets credit. Purchase on day 12 — no credit.
How to view conversion stats
- Go to Marketing > Emails > Campaigns and find the campaign.
- Click the three-dot menu on the right and select Statistics.
- Click Load more Statistics.
- Under Conversion, review Total Revenue Generated and Revenue per receipt.
- Open the Ordered tab to see which contacts purchased and what they spent.
Adjust the attribution window
- Go to Marketing > Emails > Campaigns.
- Click the gear icon to open settings.
- Change the attribution window to match your sales cycle.
The 5-day default reflects how quickly subscribers forget an email. If your sales cycle is longer, widen it. If you run flash promotions, tighten it.
Attribution scope
- All Campaigns (default): every campaign is eligible for attribution.
- Product Element Specific: only campaigns containing product elements get credit.
All payments captured under the Payments section count toward attribution, including Shopify orders synced into Sparkforge.
