Social Planner Disconnected Account Banners in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

When a connected social account in Sparkforge loses authentication, an in-app banner appears in Social Planner, Launchpad, and the Dashboard, plus you get an email. Click Re-integrate on the banner to reauthenticate and resume scheduled posts.

Sparkforge surfaces disconnected social accounts in real time so scheduled posts do not fail silently. The alert system runs in two places: an in-app banner and an email.

Where the banner appears

If any connected account loses authentication, a banner shows up at the top of:

  • Social Planner
  • Launchpad
  • Dashboard

The banner names the platform and the affected account, for example: "The connection for the following Social Planner Facebook page(s) has expired: [Account Name]."

Supported platforms

Disconnection alerts cover Facebook, Instagram, Google Business Profile, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.

Connect your accounts

  1. Open Marketing in the left menu.
  2. Click the Social Planner tab.
  3. Connect each platform you want to schedule against.

Reconnect a disconnected account

  1. Click the Re-integrate button on the banner.
  2. Complete the platform's authentication flow.
  3. Confirm the banner clears and check that scheduled posts resume.

You will also get an email when an account disconnects. Treat it as a backup notification — useful when you are not logged into Sparkforge.

What happens to scheduled posts during a disconnection

Posts queued for a disconnected account do not publish until the account is reconnected. Once authentication is restored, scheduling resumes automatically with the original times intact.

Why accounts disconnect

  • Authentication tokens expire (most common).
  • You changed the platform password.
  • Permissions were revoked on the platform side.
  • The platform pushed a security update that requires re-consent.

Stay ahead of disconnections

  • Check banners during your normal Social Planner workflow.
  • Watch the email inbox tied to your Sparkforge user.
  • Reconnect promptly so the queue clears before the next scheduled slot.
