How to Share Email Templates Across Sub-Accounts in Sparkforge
Agency admins can generate a shareable link for any email template. Recipients paste the link, pick up to three sub-accounts, and clone the template — the design stays editable in the editor instead of being locked HTML.
If you manage multiple Sparkforge sub-accounts, the share-by-link flow lets you standardize email templates without exporting and re-importing HTML.
Benefits
- Standardize across the agency. One canonical template, distributed by link.
- Editable in the design editor. Recipients clone a working template, not a static HTML file.
How to share a template
- Go to Email Marketing > Templates.
- Click the three-dot menu next to the template and select Share.
- Set access — anyone in the agency, or anyone with the link.
- Send the link by email or any other channel.
How to add a shared template
- Paste the share link in your browser.
- Click Add Template to save a copy.
- Edit the template name and choose a sub-account. You can pick up to three locations at once.
- Click Clone Template. You're redirected to the Templates section of the first chosen location, where the cloned template now appears.
Permissions
Only Agency Admins can share a template. Agency Admins, Agency Users, and account-level users can clone a shared template into sub-accounts they have access to.
