When sending a manual certificate in Sparkforge, you can pick an existing email template and edit the subject line. If no template is selected, the system uses the default configured in the client portal email settings.

When you send a certificate manually in Sparkforge, you can choose any existing email template and customize the subject line. If you skip the template selection, the system falls back to the default template configured in your client portal email settings.

How to send a manual certificate with a chosen template

  1. Open the Certificates section in your Sparkforge account
  2. Select the contact(s) who should receive a certificate
  3. Click Send Certificate
  4. In the email modal, open the Email Template dropdown
  5. Pick the template you want to use
  6. Edit the Email Subject field as needed
  7. Review the preview and click Send

What happens if you don't pick a template

The default template applies automatically. The default lives in Client Portal Settings > Email Settings — set it once there and it's used for any certificate sent without a manual selection.

  • Subject lines do not change automatically when you switch templates — edit the subject line manually if needed
  • You can preview the rendered template inside the send modal before sending
  • Only one default template can be configured per account
