How to Use Search and Smart Filter Views in Sparkforge Social Planner
The Sparkforge Social Planner List View has a keyword search and a Save as New View option that lets you store up to four reusable filter combinations across status, channel, and category.
The Social Planner List View in Sparkforge has two tools that cut the time you spend hunting for posts: a keyword search across post content and saved filter views you can switch between with one click.
How to search posts
- Go to Marketing > Social Planner.
- Switch to the List View tab (next to Calendar).
- Type a keyword in the search bar at the top of the post list.
- Matching posts appear instantly. Search scans captions, descriptions, and post text.
How to create a filter view
- From the List View, click the Filters button.
- Pick the criteria: post status, channel, category, and any other available filters.
- Click Save as New View.
- Name the view (for example, "Draft Instagram Posts").
- The saved view is now selectable from the filter dropdown.
How to switch between saved views
Click the dropdown next to Filters and pick a view. The post list updates to match the saved filter set. Use the same dropdown to edit, rename, or delete views.
What filter attributes you can combine
- Status: Draft, Published, Scheduled, Failed
- Channel: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
- Category: any custom categories you have set up
- Combine attributes for tighter views like "Scheduled Instagram Reels" or "Failed LinkedIn Posts"
Limits
- Maximum of 4 saved filter views per account.
- Saved views are user-specific. They are not shared with other team members.
- Search scans post content (captions, descriptions, text fields). It does not search media filenames or alt text.
