How to Balance Review Requests Across Google and Facebook
Turn on Review Balancing in Reputation > Settings > Review Link, pick your Google Business Profile and Facebook page, then set the redirect ratio (default is 50/50).
Review Request Balancing lets you split each review request between Google and Facebook based on a ratio you control. Instead of every request going to one platform, you build reviews on both.
Why balance review requests
- Diversify your review profile: a strong presence across multiple platforms is more credible than one stacked profile
- Reduce platform risk: if Google removes a chunk of reviews, your Facebook profile is still solid
- Tune to where your customers look: set 70/30 in favor of whichever platform drives more leads for your business
Set up Review Request Balancing
Step 1: Connect your accounts
Go to Settings > Integrations and connect both your Google Business Profile and your Facebook Business page. Without both, balancing won't work.
Step 2: Enable balancing
- Open Reputation > Settings > Review Link.
- Toggle Enable Review Balancing.
Step 3: Pick your Google Business Profile
Under the Get Reviews on Google section, use the Select Page dropdown to pick the GBP location you want reviews routed to.
Step 4: Configure the split
- Click Configure Balance.
- Set the ratio between Google and Facebook (default is 50/50).
- Save.
What happens by default
If only one platform is integrated, every request routes to that platform. If you enable balancing without setting a ratio, Sparkforge defaults to 50/50.
