How to Send Review Requests in Sparkforge
Sparkforge sends Google and third-party review requests three ways: Quick Actions for one-off manual sends, Workflow actions for automation, and the Reputation tab for tracked individual sends. Connect Google Business Profile and enable review requests in sub-account settings before you start.
Review requests in Sparkforge pull customers to your Google Business Profile or any third-party review link. Set the integration up once, then send manually, automatically, or from the Reputation tab.
Before you send your first request
- Connect Google Business Profile in sub-account integrations, or configure a third-party review link.
- Toggle review requests on in sub-account settings.
- Customize your SMS and email review templates.
- Confirm GBP is connected to the correct location.
Why reviews matter
- Conversions: positive proof helps prospects pick you over the next listing.
- Local SEO: volume, freshness, and ratings move you up in Google Maps results.
- Trust: recent reviews show your business is active and responsive.
- Customer experience: reviews surface friction you can fix.
Three ways to send review requests
1. Quick Actions (manual)
Use the Quick Actions menu in the top left for a fast manual send. The signed-in user is recorded as the sender. To send on behalf of a contact's assigned user, use a Workflow action instead.
2. Workflow action (automated)
Add the Send Review Request action to a workflow and pick the channel (Email or SMS). When the contact has an assigned user, the request comes from that user.
3. Reputation tab (manual, tracked)
Open Reputation > Requests to send individual requests and review the full send history.
Review request statuses
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Queued | The request is waiting on the send queue, or the template is set to send after a delay. |
| Sent | The system delivered the email or SMS to the contact. |
| Clicked | The contact opened the review link. |
| Completed | A review was submitted and matched back to the request. |
Troubleshooting
- Request never sends: verify review requests are toggled on in sub-account settings.
- Wrong sender on manual sends: use the Workflow action to attribute the send to the assigned user.
- No Google option: reconnect Google Business Profile and confirm location selection.
Disputing a Google review
From the Reviews tab, open the review and choose the Google dispute option. Provide context, then track status from the same view. Google's policy team makes the final call.
