How to Issue Certificates on Course Completion in Sparkforge
Attach a single certificate template to each course. When a learner completes the course, Sparkforge emails them the certificate with a link to download or share.
Sparkforge issues certificates automatically when learners complete a course. The system handles the email, the link, and the record-keeping.
Issue a certificate on course completion
- Go to Memberships > Courses > Products.
- Open the course you want to attach a certificate to.
- Open the Certificates tab.
- Click Attach.
- Select a template.
- Category defaults to Course Completion.
- Click Save.
From here on, every learner who finishes the course gets the certificate by email. Issued certificates are tracked under Memberships > Certificates.
One certificate per course. To swap certificates, edit the existing attachment and choose a new template, or delete the current one and attach a new one.
Stop sending a certificate
Pause for the entire course
Mark the certificate as Inactive. New completions stop receiving the certificate until you flip it back to Active.
Revoke for one learner
- Go to Sites > Memberships > Certificates > Issued Certificates.
- Find the learner.
- Click the three dots and choose Revoke Access.
The learner can no longer access the certificate they were previously sent.
Sharing certificates
Learners can copy their certificate link and share it publicly — useful for LinkedIn and portfolios.
