Open Issued Certificates, click Export CSV, pick a date range. Under 500 records download instantly; larger exports email a CSV link valid for 24 hours.

Sparkforge exports issued certificate records to CSV with recipient name, email, certificate ID, and date issued. Use it for audits, compliance reporting, or syncing with an external LMS.

Export limits and delivery

  • Under 500 records: CSV downloads immediately in your browser.
  • Over 500 records: CSV is emailed to your login address with the subject "Your Certificate Export is Ready".
  • Link expiration: Email download links expire after 24 hours.
  • Date range: Required on every export — there is no "all certificates" option.

How to export certificates as CSV

  1. Open the Issued Certificates section of the Certificates app.
  2. Click Export CSV in the top right.
  3. Pick a date range in the filter that appears.
  4. Click Confirm Export.
  5. Files under 500 rows download immediately. Larger files trigger an email with a download link.

What's in the export

Each row includes Full Name, Email Address, Certificate ID, and Date Issued. Course Name and Tags are added when those fields are configured on the certificate template.

If the link expires

Re-run the export with the same date range. Sparkforge does not store previous CSV files — every export is a fresh pull from current data.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I export certificates without filtering by date?
No. A date range is required to bound the export and keep performance predictable on large datasets.
Where does the CSV file go for large exports?
Exports over 500 records are emailed to the address on your Sparkforge login. The subject line reads "Your Certificate Export is Ready".
How long is the email download link valid?
24 hours from the time the email is sent. After that, re-run the export.
What columns are included in the CSV?
Full Name, Email Address, Certificate ID, and Date Issued. Course Name and Tags appear when those fields are configured on the template.
Can I re-download a previous export?
No. Past export files aren't stored. Use the same date range to regenerate the CSV.
