Integrated Onboarding for Snapshots in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge surfaces in-app guidance the first time you open Account Snapshots so you can create or import a Snapshot quickly and reopen the tips later from any sub-section.

The integrated onboarding layer inside Sparkforge's Snapshot module replaces the empty-state confusion that hits first-time users. It explains what a Snapshot is, points to the next action, and stays available for reference once you start working.

What it covers

The onboarding surface introduces the core Snapshot actions — create, import (load), share, refresh, and push updates — with concise tips and links to help articles. It appears when you open Agency View → Account Snapshots and have not yet created or imported a Snapshot.

What you get

  • Faster first success: Move from "what is a Snapshot?" to a working Snapshot with guided prompts.
  • Embedded micro-learning: Short videos and help links open without leaving the module.
  • Consistent ramp-up: New teammates follow the same path, reducing internal training time.
  • On-demand reference: Reopen guidance later from any sub-section.

First-Interaction Helper

When the Snapshot list is empty, the helper opens automatically with:

  • A short "What is a Snapshot?" explainer.
  • A primary action to start your first Snapshot workflow.
  • Quick links covering Create, Import (Load), Share, Refresh, and Push Updates.

On-Demand Learning Panel

After your first Snapshot, a compact learning surface stays available so you can revisit topics or open KB articles without context-switching. It includes:

  • Tips for Create, Import (Load), Share, Refresh, and Push Updates.
  • Links to recommended help articles.
  • A focused panel that keeps you inside the Snapshot interface.

How to use it

  1. Open Agency View → Account Snapshots.
  2. If no Snapshots exist, the First-Interaction Helper opens automatically.
  3. Pick Create Snapshot, or choose Import/Load to bring in an existing one, then complete the standard wizard.
  4. After your first Snapshot, find the help wizard in My Snapshots, Imported Snapshots, and Shared Snapshots.
  5. Reopen the On-Demand Learning Panel for tips on Share, Refresh, and Push Updates.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who sees the integrated Snapshot onboarding?
Users with access to Agency View and Account Snapshots see onboarding the first time the Snapshot list is empty. If it does not appear, check role and permission settings.
Can I bring the guidance back after I create a Snapshot?
Yes. A compact access point stays in each Snapshot sub-section so you can reopen tips and related articles whenever you need them.
Does the onboarding change how Snapshots actually work?
No. It only surfaces guidance and learning links. Create, Import, Share, Refresh, and Push Updates still happen in the standard Snapshot interface.
What is a Snapshot in Sparkforge?
A Snapshot is a packaged copy of an account's automations, funnels, and configuration that you can clone or distribute to other sub-accounts.
