How to Load a Snapshot into an Existing Sub-Account

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Loading a snapshot into a live sub-account adds prebuilt workflows, funnels, and forms without deleting existing data. Conflicts only override when you choose Override during the conflict-check step.

Loading a snapshot into an existing sub-account imports prebuilt assets — workflows, funnels, emails, forms — without recreating them by hand. Existing client data is preserved unless you choose to override during conflict resolution.

What this gets you

  • Efficiency: reuse workflows, forms, and other assets instead of rebuilding.
  • Consistency: sub-accounts share the same structure and processes.
  • Flexibility: select which assets to import.
  • Conflict warnings: review what might be overridden before any change.

Step 1: Open Manage Client

  1. From the agency dashboard, go to Sub-Accounts.
  2. Find the target sub-account (use the search bar if needed).
  3. Click the three-dot icon to the right of the sub-account, then Manage Client.

Step 2: Load Snapshot

  1. Click the blue Actions button in the upper right.
  2. Select Load Snapshot.

If you do not see Load Snapshot, check that snapshot access is enabled under User > Roles and Permissions from the agency dashboard.

Step 3: Choose the snapshot

  1. In the Load Snapshot popup, click Pick a Snapshot.
  2. Select the snapshot to load.
  3. Click the blue Proceed button.

Step 4: Select assets

  • Use checkboxes to select assets, or click Select All.
  • Click + to expand a category and pick individual assets.
  • Click Proceed when done.

If your snapshot includes webinars, the import clones webinar pages and creates the related sessions automatically.

LinkedIn ad campaigns

If the snapshot contains LinkedIn campaigns, select Ad Campaigns – LinkedIn in the asset list. Imported campaigns are always created in Draft status. If LinkedIn is not connected, the import still completes; campaigns remain Draft until you connect. Lead Gen Forms are not imported.

Step 5: Resolve conflicts

Sparkforge checks for conflicts between existing assets and the snapshot. For each conflict, choose:

  • Override — replace the existing item with the snapshot version.
  • Skip — keep the current item and exclude the snapshot version.

Click Proceed. Webinar conflicts work the same way — override or skip.

Step 6: Confirm

Type confirm to approve the changes, then click Proceed. A success notification appears, and you receive an email when the load finishes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will loading a snapshot delete my current data?
No. Existing data is only replaced if you choose Override during the conflict check step. Choose Skip to keep current items intact.
Can I preview a snapshot before loading?
Not directly. You can load it selectively and skip assets you don't want during the asset-selection step.
What if I accidentally override an asset?
Overrides cannot be undone. Review the conflict list carefully before confirming the load.
Can I load multiple snapshots into the same sub-account?
Yes. Repeat the process for each snapshot. Watch the conflict step closely — overlapping assets between snapshots can trigger overrides you don't want.
