How to Share Snapshots in Sparkforge: Link Types and Setup

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge snapshots can be shared via permanent, one-time, email, agency-restricted, or sub-account restricted links. Toggle Assets Protected to stop recipients from copying or re-sharing protected content.

Snapshot sharing generates a secure link that lets another agency or sub-account import a curated package of assets — funnels, workflows, forms, templates, and more. Picking the right link type protects your IP and matches the use case.

Why share via snapshots

  • Speed — roll out proven funnels and automations in minutes across many accounts.
  • Consistency — distribute standardized builds and avoid configuration drift.
  • Control — single-use, permanent, or restricted links for each scenario.
  • Protection — lock down high-value assets with Assets Protected.
  • SaaS scale — auto-provision new SaaS signups with a default snapshot.

Generate a share link

  1. Go to Agency View > Account Snapshots > My Snapshots.
  2. Find your snapshot, click the three-dot menu, then Share Snapshot.
  3. Choose a share option (see types below).
  4. (Optional) Toggle Assets Protected to stop copying or re-sharing of protected content.
  5. Click Get Link, copy it, and send it to the recipient.

Tip: to sell the snapshot on the marketplace, use the three-dot menu and select Sell on Marketplace for a guided listing flow.

Updating a shared snapshot

Snapshots are clones of a sub-account at a moment in time. Updates do not flow back to previously shared copies automatically.

  • Inside your agency: refresh the snapshot, then push updates to the linked sub-accounts.
  • Outside your agency: refresh the snapshot, then re-share the new link. External agencies must re-import.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are all link types available on every plan?
Yes. Permanent, one-time, email, agency-restricted, sub-account restricted, and marketplace links are available on every snapshot-enabled plan.
Do shared snapshot updates push automatically?
No. A snapshot is a clone of a sub-account at a point in time. Updates only sync to sub-accounts inside your own agency via push updates. External agencies must re-import a refreshed link.
What does Assets Protected do?
It prevents recipients from duplicating or re-sharing protected content from the snapshot. Use it when you want recipients to use the assets but not extract or resell them.
How do I update a snapshot for sub-accounts in my agency?
Refresh the snapshot to capture the latest changes from the source sub-account, then click Push Updates and select which sub-accounts and assets to sync.
