How to Create a New Sub-Account from a Snapshot in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Pick a snapshot from the Account Snapshots page, click Create New Account, and Sparkforge spins up the sub-account with funnels, workflows, calendars, and settings already loaded — no manual snapshot import after creation.

Creating a Sparkforge sub-account from a snapshot loads the assets and settings packaged in that snapshot during account creation. Funnels, workflows, calendars, and configuration are in place the moment the account exists, which removes the manual import step.

Why Use a Snapshot

  • Faster onboarding — assets and settings load with the account
  • Consistency — every sub-account starts identical
  • Time savings — no per-account configuration after creation
  • Fewer mistakes — nothing forgotten between accounts

Prerequisites

  • Agency Admin access
  • A snapshot already created or imported into your account
  • The snapshot includes the assets you want duplicated (funnels, triggers, calendars, workflows, etc.)

Create the Sub-Account

  1. Open the Agency Dashboard.
  2. Click Account Snapshots in the left menu.
  3. Find the snapshot you want to use.
  4. Click the blue Create New Account (+) button next to it.
  5. Fill in the new sub-account details.
  6. Click Add Sub-Account.

Sparkforge creates the account and loads the snapshot in a single step. Funnels and websites in the snapshot land as drafts — connect a domain and publish them when you are ready.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I remove a snapshot after it loads?
Snapshots cannot be unloaded as a unit. Delete or modify individual elements (funnels, workflows, etc.) directly inside the sub-account.
Who can create sub-accounts from snapshots?
Only users with Agency Admin permissions.
What ships with a snapshot?
Funnels, forms, workflows, calendars, settings, and other assets the snapshot creator chose to include.
Will the snapshot overwrite anything?
No. The sub-account is brand new, so the snapshot's contents become the starting state.
Can I apply more than one snapshot during creation?
No. Pick one snapshot at creation. Apply additional snapshots manually after the sub-account exists.
