How to Set Up Pipelines and Opportunities in Sparkforge
Create a pipeline in Sparkforge under Opportunities > Pipelines > Create New Pipeline. Add opportunities manually, import from CSV, or auto-create with a workflow triggered by Form Submitted, Appointment Booked, or Payment Received.
Pipelines turn raw leads into tracked deals. Sparkforge handles pipelines, opportunities, and the automation that moves records through stages without manual work.

Triggers that pair well with Create/Update Opportunity
| Trigger | Use case |
|---|---|
| Customer Booked Appointment | Auto-add prospects to a Consult Scheduled stage when they book. |
| Contact Tag | Move contacts tagged Hot Lead into a closing stage. |
| Facebook Lead Form Submitted | Pipe FB ad leads into a New Facebook Leads stage. |
| Payment Received | Create an opportunity in Won — Awaiting Onboarding when a purchase clears. |
| Contact Created | Drop every new contact into New Lead so nothing slips through. |
| Call Status | Move answered inbound calls into a follow-up stage. |
| Survey Submitted | Route completed surveys into a qualification stage for scoring. |
The action stays the same across these workflows — only the trigger changes.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many pipelines can I create?
There's no hard limit on pipelines in Sparkforge. Build separate pipelines for different products, services, or sales motions and route opportunities into the right one with workflows.
What's the difference between a contact and an opportunity?
A contact is a person. An opportunity is a deal attached to a contact, with its own pipeline stage, value, and status. One contact can have multiple opportunities over time.
What does Allow Opportunity to Move do?
When toggled on, the workflow updates an existing opportunity if it re-enters (for example, the same contact submits the form again). With it off, the workflow creates a fresh opportunity each time.
Can I trigger opportunity creation from a paid ad lead?
Yes. Use the Facebook Lead Form Submitted trigger and route those leads into a dedicated New Facebook Leads stage so the team can prioritize them.
Do I have to publish the workflow?
Yes. Drafts don't fire. Toggle to Publish, then test with a real form submission or qualifying event.
