By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

In Sparkforge Social Planner, connect one or more Pinterest accounts (you must be an admin), pick a board in the post composer, and publish a pin with a single image or video that meets Pinterest's size and format limits.

Sparkforge Social Planner now connects multiple Pinterest accounts and posts pins from the same composer you use for every other channel.

How to publish a pin

  1. Open Marketing → Social Planner.
  2. Connect your Pinterest account. You need to be an admin on the Pinterest account to authorize.
  3. Open the post composer and start a new post.
  4. Select the Pinterest account along with any other social accounts.
  5. Pick the Pinterest board to pin to. If you have no boards yet, click Add board in the dropdown to create one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I connect more than one Pinterest account?
Yes. Social Planner supports multiple connected Pinterest accounts so you can post from each separately.
Why can't I authorize my Pinterest account?
Pinterest requires you to be an admin on the account to authorize a third-party publisher. Promote yourself to admin then reconnect.
Can I post one pin to multiple boards at once?
No. A single pin targets one board. Duplicate the post to publish to additional boards.
What aspect ratio works best for Pinterest video?
9:16 full-bleed performs best on the home feed. 2:3 also works well for portrait pins.
How do I create a new board from the composer?
Open the board selection dropdown and click Add board. Pinterest creates the board immediately and selects it for the pin.
