If/Else Workflow Branches in Sparkforge: Duplicate, Reorder, Rename

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge If/Else actions branch a workflow based on conditions. You can duplicate branches, drag to reorder them, and rename the default None branch for cleaner logic.

If/Else lets a workflow take different paths based on what just happened. If condition A is true, run path X. If B, run Y. The action now has three quality-of-life features that save real time when you are building complex logic.

What If/Else does

If/Else evaluates conditions at a decision point in your workflow and routes the contact down the matching branch. Anything that does not match falls through to the None branch.

Duplicate a branch

Stop rebuilding similar logic from scratch. Click the three-dot menu on a branch and choose Duplicate Branch. The copy appears below the original with (copy) appended. Rename it to whatever fits.

Reorder branches

Click the Reorder Branches icon, then drag and drop. The None branch always stays last, but every other branch can move freely. Useful when readability matters more than build order.

Rename the None branch

The fallback branch no longer has to read None. Click the branch name and type whatever describes the catch-all path (for example, No Match or Default). The name cannot be left empty.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does duplicating a branch copy the actions inside it?
Yes. The duplicated branch keeps all conditions and downstream actions. Update the condition on the copy so both branches are not evaluating the same logic.
Can the None branch be moved?
No. The None branch always sits at the bottom of the If/Else block. You can rename it but not reorder it.
Is there a limit to the number of If/Else branches?
There is no hard cap, but past five or six branches the workflow gets hard to maintain. Consider splitting into separate workflows or using sub-workflows.
