  • Unarchive back to the Recents tab.

  5. Save and publish.

Suggested triggers

  • Contact Replied — auto-mark the thread read once they answer.

Example

Goal: keep resolved support threads out of the active inbox.

  2. Add Edit Conversation.
  3. Set Mark as Read and Archive.

Resolved threads disappear from the active list automatically. Your team focuses on what's still open.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I unarchive a conversation later in the same workflow?
Yes. Add a second Edit Conversation action with Unarchive selected, gated by whatever trigger or condition makes sense.
Does archiving delete the conversation?
No. Archive only hides it from the Recents tab. The thread, messages, and contact history all stay intact.
Will the contact see anything when I mark a conversation read?
No. Read/unread is an internal state for your team's inbox view. The contact sees nothing change on their end.
Is this action premium?
No. Edit Conversation runs without per-execution fees on plans that include workflow automation.
