How to View Sparkforge Appointments in Any Timezone
The View Appointments In setting lets each Sparkforge user pick any timezone for displaying appointments in Calendar View, Appointment List, Contacts, and Conversations. It does not affect availability or booking behavior.
You can pick any timezone for viewing appointments across Sparkforge. The setting is per user and only changes how times are displayed. It does not change availability, booking links, or scheduling rules.
Where the setting applies
The selected timezone changes appointment display in:
- Calendar View
- Appointment List
- Contacts (Appointments section)
- Conversations
Change your viewing timezone
- Go to Calendar Settings.
- Open Preferences.
- Find View Appointments In.
- Select your preferred timezone.
- Click Save Preferences.
You can change this any time.
Where the active timezone shows
- Calendar View: the active timezone appears in the calendar interface.
- Appointment List: the active timezone shows at the bottom of the page.
Backward compatibility with the old Labs flag
A Labs flag previously controlled whether appointments showed in User Timezone or Business Timezone. That flag is gone. Sparkforge migrated existing settings:
- If the flag was ON, your setting is now User Timezone.
- If the flag was OFF, your setting is now your Business Timezone.
You can change to any timezone from there.
Example: New York business, London user
Your business runs out of New York (EST) and you are in London (GMT). You set your view to GMT for clarity. A teammate stays on EST to match business hours. Both of you see the same appointments in your own timezone, no manual conversion required.
What this setting does not change
Availability stays under Settings → My Profile → User Availability. Booking links, confirmations, reminders, and scheduling logic all run on the original timezone rules. The view setting is purely cosmetic.
