Set Up Google Organic Booking in Sparkforge
Google Organic Booking lets customers book directly from your Google Business Profile in search results or Maps. Connect your Sparkforge calendars in Calendar Settings > Connections, upload feeds, and Google verifies them in 1-2 weeks.
Google Organic Booking (also called Google Booking Redirect) lets customers book your services directly from your Google Business Profile in search results or on Maps — no website visit, no third-party booking platform. You connect your Sparkforge calendars to Google, and the Book Online button on your GBP starts the booking flow.
Who it's for
Available for businesses in supported countries and verticals (with some exclusions). Common fits: salons, spas, fitness, wellness, home services, and other appointment-based businesses.
What you need
A verified Google Business Profile.
Set up the feeds
Open Calendar Settings > Connections > Organic Booking Redirect.
Step 1: Primary Action Feed (Book Online button)
- Build a booking page. Set up a Service Menu or Group of services so customers can pick easily.
- Upload the Primary Action Feed. This link drives the Book Online button on your GBP. Verify it's active and the page works on mobile.
Step 2: Individual Service Booking
- List your services. Any calendar you've created can be exposed as a service on Google.
- Upload Individual Service Feeds. Pick the calendars you want to surface in the Individual Service Booking dropdown.
Important: calendars selected here must have a clear description that matches the service name. Google rejects vague or mismatched listings.
First-time verification typically takes 1-2 weeks. The selected calendars then appear under the Services tab on your GBP.
Tips for a clean approval
- Clear descriptions. Service and calendar descriptions must match their names.
- Link accuracy. Use only a service menu or group in the Primary Action Feed. Use individual calendars in the Service Feed.
- Keep it current. Update offerings and descriptions as your services change.
Disable the integration
- Open Calendar Settings > Connections.
- In the Account Connections tab, find the Google Organic Booking section.
- Toggle the switch off.
Disabling stops feed uploads to Google, and the booking option disappears from your GBP.
