Credential Preview is the public certificate page Sparkforge generates for every issued credential. It shows issuer, dates, and validity in a clean layout, and lets earners share to LinkedIn, Facebook, X, or WhatsApp or download a PNG.
Credential Preview is the public-facing certificate page Sparkforge produces for every issued credential. It surfaces issuer, issue date, and expiry in a mobile-friendly layout and gives earners one-tap sharing and PNG download.
What Credential Preview Includes
- Responsive certificate page that scales cleanly on phone and desktop.
- Info boxes for issuer, issue date, and expiry so viewers can verify at a glance.
- Public link that anyone with the URL can open without logging in.
- PNG download pre-generated at issuance for fast, pixel-accurate saving.
Sharing Options
The preview includes direct share actions for LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), and WhatsApp. The LinkedIn Add to Profile button puts the credential on the recipient’s profile without copy-paste. Share controls appear when you preview an issued certificate (not the template).
Verification and Expiry
- Viewers open the public certificate page through the share link and confirm authenticity from the metadata.
- When a certificate expires, the preview becomes unavailable. Issued-certificate expiry overrides template-level expiry.
- Reminder emails are configurable, replacing the old fixed 2- and 7-day defaults.
How to Set Up Credential Preview
- Go to Memberships → Credentials → Templates and create or edit a Certificate or Badge.
- Configure the design, issuer, validity window, and any reminder schedule.
- Issue the credential to a recipient through your course or community.
- Open the issued credential and click Preview to confirm layout, share actions, and the LinkedIn add-to-profile button.
- Send the public link to the recipient or trigger the issuance email automation.
When to Use It
Credential Preview fits any program where recipients want to publish proof: course completions, certifications, partner badges, and continuing education. Pair it with a community or membership site so earners share the credential straight from the place they completed the work.
