How to Use the Spacer Element in Sparkforge Email Builder
The Spacer Element in Sparkforge’s Email Builder adds adjustable empty space between content blocks. Drag it in, set height or width, and rely on responsive behavior across desktop and mobile.
The Spacer Element gives you precise control over the vertical and horizontal gaps in your Sparkforge emails without abusing dividers or hand-tuning padding.
What the Spacer Element does
It’s a drag-and-drop tool inside the Email Builder that creates empty, adjustable space between content blocks. Spacing adapts responsively for mobile and desktop, so you don’t maintain two layouts.
Why use it
- Cleaner spacing without repurposing dividers.
- Responsive height/width that adapts to device.
- No padding hacks on individual blocks.
- Lightweight — no impact on deliverability or load time.
Add a Spacer to a template
- Go to Marketing > Emails > Templates in your sub-account.
- Open an existing template or click + New to start one.
- Click the Add Elements (+) icon in the upper-left of the builder.
- Drag Spacer into the layout where you need space.
- With the Spacer selected, open the Edit tab to set height, width, or color.
- Use the Visibility tab for device-based visibility and conditional sending.
- Preview on desktop and mobile to confirm.
Tips
Use Spacers for section breaks instead of stacking blank text blocks. For dividers with a visible line, use the Divider element — a Spacer renders no content.
