How to Restore a Deleted Calendar in Sparkforge
Sparkforge calendars deleted within the last 60 days can be restored from Settings > Audit Logs. Appointments deleted with the calendar (within 30 minutes of deletion) come back too.
Deleting a calendar in Sparkforge also deletes every appointment on it. The Restore Calendar feature reverses both the calendar deletion and any appointments that went with it, as long as you act inside the audit log retention window.
How to restore a deleted calendar
- Go to Settings > Audit Logs.
- Find the log entry for the deleted calendar.
- Click the three dots next to the entry and choose Restore.
- The calendar and its associated appointments come back.
Timing rules
- Appointments deleted within 30 minutes of the calendar deletion are restored with the calendar.
- Appointments deleted earlier (separately from the calendar deletion) are not restored.
- Audit logs are retained for 60 days. After that, the log entry is gone and the calendar cannot be recovered through this flow.
Why the 30-minute rule exists
The window only restores appointments that were deleted as a side effect of the calendar deletion — not appointments a user deliberately removed earlier. Example: if you delete a calendar at 10:00 AM, every appointment on it is deleted at 10:00 AM and can be restored. An appointment a staff member deleted at 9:00 AM that same day stays deleted.
