How to Reach Out to Prospecting Leads in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Prospects from the Prospecting Tool auto-add to sub-account Contacts with the tag "New Prospect Received". Filter, then engage with email, SMS, pipelines, or workflow triggers.

The Prospecting Tool feeds leads into your sub-account Contacts automatically — whether you generated them through AI, manual Google Business search, or the embedded prospecting widget. From there you can email, SMS, or push them into pipelines.

Where prospecting works

  • Agency view: Lead discovery and basic prospecting only.
  • Sub-account view: Email, SMS, and workflow engagement live here. Most outreach should happen at the sub-account level.

Enable prospecting in a sub-account

If your agency already has an active Prospecting subscription, link a sub-account and migrate prospects in. The leads copy to Contacts and trigger any matching workflows.

To enable Prospecting on multiple sub-accounts, open Reselling in the agency view and toggle Prospecting on. Sub-accounts can then access the tool from their Marketing tab.

Find prospect leads in Contacts

  1. Open the sub-account where prospecting was done.
  2. Click Contacts in the left navigation.
  3. Click More Filters in the top right.
  4. Set Field = Tag, Condition = is, Value = New Prospect Received.
  5. Apply the filter to see every contact generated from the Prospecting Tool.

Engage a prospect

  • Contact card: Open it to see the linked Marketing Audit Report and send email or SMS directly.
  • Three-dot menu: Add to a pipeline, schedule an appointment, or trigger an action.
  • Prospect card: In the sub-account Prospecting dashboard, the Lead Actions icon opens contact details and recent SMS, email, or call threads in one view.

Automate follow-up with workflows

Build a workflow with the Prospecting trigger so every new prospect gets immediate, hands-off follow-up:

  • Send a welcome email or SMS with their Marketing Audit Report.
  • Notify the sales team or create a task.
  • Add to a pipeline or nurture sequence.
  • Apply tags or enrich field data.

If a prospect doesn't appear

Sync delays are rare but possible. Check that Prospecting is active on the sub-account, then either wait for sync or create the contact manually using the prospect details and apply the New Prospect Received tag to keep automations consistent.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do prospects show up after I generate them?
They land in sub-account Contacts with the tag "New Prospect Received". Filter contacts by that tag to surface every prospect.
Can I send email or SMS from the agency view?
No. Email, SMS, and workflows fire from the sub-account level. Migrate prospects into a sub-account to engage them.
How do I automate follow-up?
Build a workflow with the Prospecting trigger. It fires when a new prospect lands in Contacts and can send messages, assign tasks, or push the lead into a pipeline.
What if a prospect doesn't sync to Contacts?
Confirm Prospecting is enabled on the sub-account. If a contact still doesn't appear, create it manually with the prospect details and apply the "New Prospect Received" tag.
