How to Migrate Prospects from Agency to Sub-Account
In the agency Prospecting dashboard, open Settings > Migrate, choose a sub-account with Prospecting Premium, pick prospects, and click Migrate. Records copy to sub-account Contacts and remain at the agency.
Prospect Migration copies leads created at the agency level into a linked sub-account so the sub-account team can engage them with its own pipelines, automations, and communications. Originals stay in the agency view for future use.
Prerequisites
- The destination sub-account must have Prospecting Premium active.
- You need existing prospects at the agency level.
How to migrate prospects
- Sign in to the agency account and click Prospecting in the left navigation.
- Open the Settings tab, then the Migrate sub-tab.
- Click Migrate Prospects.
- Pick a sub-account from the dropdown. Only sub-accounts with active Prospecting Premium appear.
- Click Select Prospects and choose one, several, or all prospects.
- Click Migrate to start the transfer.
What happens after migration
- Prospects are added to the sub-account's Contacts.
- Notes, history, and field data carry over intact.
- The originals remain in the agency dashboard.
- Prospecting workflow triggers fire when the contact lands in the sub-account.
Reusing prospects across sub-accounts
The same prospect can be migrated to multiple sub-accounts. Each migration creates a fresh contact record in the destination while keeping the agency-level record available.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are prospects deleted from the agency after migration?
No. Migration copies the prospect into the sub-account. The original stays available at the agency level.
Can I migrate the same prospect to multiple sub-accounts?
Yes. The agency record stays intact, so you can migrate the same prospect to a different sub-account whenever it makes sense.
Do notes, tags, and history carry over?
Yes. All field data, notes, and activity history copy with the contact.
Can I migrate in bulk?
Yes. Use Select All or multi-select to migrate any number of prospects in one action.
Is migration included with Prospecting Premium?
Yes. There's no extra charge — it's part of the Prospecting Premium subscription on the destination sub-account.
