Prospecting at the Sub-Account Level in Sparkforge

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Prospecting at the sub-account level in Sparkforge adds prospects to your CRM contacts, triggers workflows, and lets you send prospecting audit reports — actions you can't run from the agency view.

Prospecting in Sparkforge runs in two places: the agency view for lead discovery, and the sub-account view for engagement and automation. Only sub-accounts can send email, SMS, and run workflows, so the meaningful work happens there.

What Sub-Account Prospecting Adds

1. Auto-add prospects to your CRM

Any prospect generated inside a sub-account — manually, via prospecting widgets, or via Prospect AI — is added to that sub-account's contacts automatically. The agency view doesn't do this.

2. Trigger workflows on new prospects

Run welcome emails, opportunity pipeline assignments, or any other workflow against prospects created from any source: AI, in-app, or prospecting widgets.

3. Send audit reports to prospects

Email prospecting audit reports to leads using custom objects, or share them manually from the prospect record.

How to Enable Prospecting in a Sub-Account

Option A: Reselling tab

  1. Open Agency View > Reselling.
  2. Toggle Re-sell Prospecting on and save.

Option B: Direct purchase

Buy Prospecting Premium directly inside the target sub-account.

Option C: Upgrade from agency view

  1. Open Prospecting in your agency account.
  2. Click Upgrade.
  3. Search for the sub-account, select it, and click Continue to Pay. Don't pick "continue without linking sub account."

If you already have an agency Prospecting subscription

Link a sub-account to your existing subscription, then migrate prospects into it. Migrated prospects auto-copy into contacts and fire any matching workflows.

Find Prospecting in the Sub-Account

Once enabled, navigate to Marketing > Prospecting in the sub-account's top nav.

Run Prospecting on Multiple Sub-Accounts

  1. Open Agency View > Reselling.
  2. Toggle Prospecting on.
  3. In each target sub-account, open Marketing > Prospecting.

Migrate Prospects from Agency to a Sub-Account

  1. Open Prospecting in the agency view, then go to Settings.
  2. Click Migrate, then Migrate Prospect.
  3. Pick the destination sub-account (only ones with Prospecting Premium active are listed).
  4. Select all prospects or pick manually.
  5. Click Migrate. Prospects copy into the sub-account and stay in the agency account too.
  6. In the sub-account, open Marketing > Prospecting to see the migrated list.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why prospect at the sub-account level instead of the agency level?
Only sub-accounts can send email and SMS, run workflows, and add prospects to CRM contacts. The agency view handles discovery only.
Does migration delete prospects from the agency view?
No. Migrated prospects copy into the target sub-account and stay in the agency view as well.
Will workflows fire on migrated prospects?
Yes. The migration copy triggers any workflows configured for new prospects in the destination sub-account.
How do I get Prospecting in more than one sub-account?
Toggle Re-sell Prospecting in the agency Reselling tab, then activate it inside each target sub-account from Marketing > Prospecting.
Where do I find Prospecting after I enable it?
Inside the sub-account, open Marketing in the top nav, then click the Prospecting tab.
