How to Set the Primary Color in Sparkforge Forms, Surveys & Quizzes

The Primary Color setting in Sparkforge Forms, Surveys, and Quizzes applies your brand color to hover, focus, and selected states across interactive elements. It keeps forms on-brand without manual styling on every field.

Where the Primary Color shows up

The Primary Color appears only when users interact with the form: hovering, clicking, typing, selecting, or choosing a date. Without a Primary Color set, forms use the default neutral styling.

• Form fields: border highlights on hover and focus.
• Dropdowns: options and borders reflect the color when opened or selected.
• Checkboxes and radio buttons: selected options fill with the color.
• Date picker: the active or selected date is highlighted.
• File uploads and signature fields: borders and sketch colors use the Primary Color.

How to change the Primary Color

1. Open the Form, Survey, or Quiz in the builder.
2. Go to Style and Options → Styles.
3. Scroll to Primary Color under Colors and Background.
4. Pick a color or enter a hex code.
5. Optional: toggle Map Primary color to Button color to apply the same color to buttons.
6. Click Save.
