What's on the Sparkforge Subscriptions Page

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

The Payments → Subscriptions page lists every subscription created through funnel order forms or manually from a contact, with status mapped consistently across Stripe and PayPal.

The Subscriptions page under Payments is the single view of every recurring charge created through Sparkforge — funnels, contact-level manual subscriptions, and any payment provider you have connected.

How to Open It

  1. Go to Payments.
  2. Click the Subscriptions tab.

What's Listed

  • Subscriptions created from 1-step or 2-step order forms in funnels v2.
  • Manual subscriptions created from a contact's Payments tab, when the connected provider supports it.

Each row shows payment provider and subscription ID, customer details, source, creation date, amount, and status. Cancelling and refunding inside Sparkforge (without going to Stripe) is on the roadmap.

Inside a Subscription

Click into a row to see:

  • Provider details and source of creation.
  • Subsequent transactions (for Stripe-created subscriptions).
  • Optional metadata fields captured at checkout — for example, a company name from the order form.

Status Mapping

Sparkforge buckets provider-specific statuses into a unified list:

Sync Behavior

  • Stripe — status and upcoming payments stay in sync with the Stripe dashboard. Cancel in Stripe and Sparkforge reflects it.
  • PayPal — status does not stay in sync. The subscription is logged at creation but ongoing payments aren't tracked.

What's Not Listed

  • Failed first-payment subscriptions from order forms (the contact still gets created, but no subscription is logged).
  • Recurring invoice templates from the Invoices section.
  • Subscriptions created inside Memberships.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I find the Subscriptions page?
Payments → Subscriptions in your sub-account.
Can I cancel a subscription from Sparkforge?
Cancellation and refund actions inside Sparkforge are on the roadmap. Today you handle them in Stripe (or PayPal) and the change syncs back if it's a Stripe subscription.
Why doesn't my PayPal subscription show updated payments?
PayPal subscriptions are logged when created, but ongoing status and payments aren't synced. Use the PayPal dashboard for live status.
My order form failed on first payment — where's the subscription?
It isn't created. Failed first-payment attempts don't appear on the Subscriptions page, but the contact record still gets created.
Are membership subscriptions on this page?
No. Membership subscriptions live in the Memberships section, not Payments → Subscriptions.
