How to Share a One-Time Booking Link for a Sparkforge Calendar

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

A One-Time Link is a Sparkforge calendar URL that expires after a single booking. Generate it from the Share menu in Calendar Settings to control who can book and how often.

A One-Time Link is a single-use scheduling URL. Once someone books with it, the link expires. Compared to a permanent link, this gives you tight control over who can grab time on your calendar.

Why use a one-time link

  • Stops the link from being passed around.
  • Prevents repeat bookings from the same contact.
  • Useful when you do not want a contact's full schedule view.
  • Good for one-off intro calls or VIP scheduling.

Share a one-time link

  1. Open your sub-account.
  2. Go to Settings → Calendars.
  3. Open the calendar you want to share.
  4. In the top-right, click Share.
  5. Select One-Time Link.
  6. Click Copy and send it to your contact.

The Share menu in Calendar Settings now houses the Scheduling Link, Permanent Link, One-Time Link, and Embed Code in one spot.

Generate a fresh link

To get a brand new URL (for example, after the previous one was used or shared too widely), click Generate New Link from the One-Time Link tab.

What happens after a booking

Once the link is used, it is dead. If someone tries it again, they see a message asking them to contact the calendar owner. Send a new one-time link if you want them to book again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the same contact use the same one-time link twice?
No. After the first booking, the link expires. The contact would need a new one-time link to book again.
Where do I find the One-Time Link option?
Settings → Calendars → open the calendar → Share button (top right) → One-Time Link tab.
Does the link expire on a timer or only after a booking?
It expires when the booking is completed. There is no time-based expiration; the trigger is the booking itself.
Can I generate one-time links from a workflow?
Yes. There is a Workflow Action for generating one-time links so you can send them automatically inside an automation.
