Multi-Select Filters in Sparkforge Workflow Triggers

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge workflow triggers now accept multiple values in Forms, Surveys, Contains Phrase, and Exact Match filters, treated as an OR match so one trigger covers many cases.

Stop building duplicate triggers when you want a workflow to fire on more than one form, survey answer, or keyword. Sparkforge workflow triggers accept multiple values per filter, evaluated as an OR match.

What changed

  • Forms, Surveys, Contains Phrase, and Exact Match filters now accept multiple selections.
  • Logic is OR. Example: a Facebook "Comments on a Post" trigger with five contains-phrase values fires when the contact's comment matches any one of them.

How to use it

Forms and Surveys

Open the trigger filter dropdown and click each form or survey you want to include. The trigger fires on a submission to any of them.

Contains Phrase and Exact Match

Type a phrase, then press Enter or Return to commit it. Repeat for each phrase you want covered. The filter matches if the incoming text hits any one of the entries.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the multi-select an OR or an AND match?
OR. The trigger fires when the contact matches any one of the selected values. If you need AND logic, use additional filter conditions.
Do I need to recreate existing triggers to use this?
No. Open an existing trigger, add the additional values to the filter, and save. You can usually consolidate several duplicate triggers into one.
Why won't my new phrase save in Contains Phrase?
You have to press Enter or Return after typing each phrase. Just typing and clicking elsewhere won't commit it to the list.
