How to Connect Microsoft Teams to Sparkforge Calendars

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Connect Microsoft Teams under Settings > My Profile or Calendars > Settings > Connections > Video Conferencing. Once connected, select Microsoft Teams as the meeting location on a calendar and every new booking gets its own dynamic Teams link.

Connect Microsoft Teams to Sparkforge so calendars auto-generate a dynamic Teams meeting link for every booking. The link is included in the calendar invite and is unique to each appointment — no manual link creation required.

Prerequisites

You need access to the Microsoft Teams account you want to connect. Only Microsoft Teams accounts for Work and School (Organization and Education) qualify — personal Teams accounts are not supported.

Connect Teams from My Profile

  1. Go to Settings > My Profile.
  2. Under Video Conferencing connections, click Add New.
  3. Select Microsoft Teams and click Connect.
  4. Sign in with your Microsoft Teams credentials.

Connect Teams from Calendar Settings

  1. Go to Calendars > Calendar Settings > Connections.
  2. Open the Video Conferencing tab.
  3. Click Add New, then click Connect next to Microsoft Teams.
  4. Sign in with your Microsoft Teams credentials.

Add Teams links to a calendar

  1. Confirm the Microsoft Teams integration is set up.
  2. Go to Calendar Settings and edit the calendar to update.
  3. Open the Meeting Details tab and scroll to Team Members.
  4. Pick the team member, confirm their Teams account is integrated, then select Microsoft Teams as the meeting location and Save.

Supported calendar types

Personal Booking, Round Robin, Collective, and Service Calendars auto-generate Teams links for each new booking. Class Booking calendars are coming soon.

For Event Calendars, generate a Teams meeting link manually, then in calendar settings choose Custom as the meeting location and paste the link. The same link is used for every booking on that calendar.

Sharing one Teams account across users and locations

  • The same Teams account can be connected in multiple Sparkforge locations.
  • Multiple users can connect and use the same Teams account.
  • Each user can connect one Teams account per location.

Remove or switch the connected Teams account

  1. Go to Calendars > Settings > Connections > Video Conferencing.
  2. Remove the existing connection or connect a different Teams account.
  3. Confirm the meeting location on calendars that need to keep generating dynamic Teams links.

If Teams is disconnected and later reconnected, Sparkforge automatically generates Teams links for upcoming appointments that were created during the disconnected period and are missing a meeting link.

Outlook calendars are separate

Connecting an Outlook calendar does not connect Microsoft Teams. Connect Teams separately under Calendar Connections > Video Conferencing. To see appointments on your Outlook calendar, connect Outlook under Calendar Connections > Calendars and select it as the linked calendar.
