Connect Zoom to Sparkforge Calendars for Auto Meeting Links

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Connect Zoom from My Profile or Calendar Settings, and every Personal, Round Robin, Service, or Collective calendar booking gets a fresh Zoom link automatically. Free Zoom accounts work.

Connecting Zoom to Sparkforge calendars generates a unique Zoom link for every appointment booked, so you and the client both get the meeting URL without anyone copying or pasting.

Note: Dynamic Zoom links work for Personal, Round Robin, Service, and Collective calendars.

What you get

  • Auto-generated Zoom link on every booking
  • Same Zoom account can be used across multiple sub-accounts and users
  • Fewer manual errors — no forgotten meeting links in confirmations
  • Works on free Zoom accounts (paid plans extend meeting durations)

Two ways to connect Zoom

Method 1: From My Profile

  1. In the Settings nav bar, open My Profile.
  2. Go to the Calendar section and click Video Conferencing.
  3. Click + Add New, then Connect next to Zoom.
  4. Sign in to Zoom and authorize access.

Method 2: From Calendar Settings

  1. Open Calendar Settings in the Settings nav bar.
  2. Click the Connections tab.
  3. Open Video Conferencing and click Add New.
  4. Click Connect next to Zoom and sign in.

Check your connection

Go to My Profile > Calendar Settings > Video Conferencing. A connected Zoom account is listed there.

If Zoom disconnects and you reconnect later, Sparkforge will fill in Zoom links on upcoming appointments that were booked during the gap — you don't have to edit each appointment by hand.

Make sure links land in confirmations

For Zoom links to appear in appointment emails and SMS, set the meeting location to Zoom and include the {{appointment.location}} merge field in your message templates.

Limits

  • One Zoom account per user profile
  • Only one video conferencing platform active per calendar at a time
  • To swap accounts, click Disconnect next to Zoom in Video Conferencing, then reconnect

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a paid Zoom account?
No. A free Zoom account works. Paid plans add longer meeting durations and extra features but aren't required for the integration.
Can I connect different Zoom accounts to different calendars?
No. Zoom is tied to the user profile, so only one Zoom account connects per user.
Why is my Zoom link missing from confirmation emails?
Set the meeting location to Zoom and include the {{appointment.location}} merge field in the email or SMS template.
Which calendars support dynamic Zoom links?
Personal Booking, Round Robin, Service, and Collective calendars all generate a fresh Zoom link per booking.
Can I use Zoom and Google Meet together?
You can connect both, but only one video platform can be active per user profile or calendar at a time.
