New Mobile Course UI in Sparkforge Memberships
Sparkforge Memberships now ships a redesigned mobile Courses UI with one-screen category and lesson navigation, a refreshed comments section, smoother quizzes, and shimmer placeholders in place of legacy loaders.
The Sparkforge mobile Courses experience has been rebuilt to make learning faster on phones and tablets. Students stay in flow, and creators get a polished delivery without changing how courses are authored.
What changed in the mobile Courses UI
Category and lesson navigation
Switch between categories and lessons on the same screen. Expand for the full outline or collapse for a quick scan. No back-and-forth between screens.
Lesson types
Text, audio, and video lessons share a unified layout, so students see the same controls and pacing across formats.
Comments
The comments section was redesigned to make threaded replies easier to follow and post.
Quizzes and assignments
Question transitions no longer crop content. Status is surfaced inline so students see whether a quiz or assignment is in review, passed, or failed.
Shimmer loading
Spinner-style loaders were replaced with shimmer placeholders that mirror the layout of the content underneath. Perceived load time drops noticeably on slower connections.
Under the hood
- Folder structure was reorganized for maintainability.
- Components were ported to Vue 3 composition API.
- Pages were split into lazy-loaded sub-components, shrinking the initial bundle size.
Who this affects
Course creators on Sparkforge Pro do not need to republish lessons. The new UI applies automatically to mobile learners. Desktop course views are unchanged.
