Audio Lessons and Offers V2 Migration in Sparkforge
Sparkforge courses now support audio lessons with one-click uploads and adjustable playback. Offers V2 expands payment processing beyond Stripe to Authorize.Net, NMI, Square, Razorpay, plus adds subscription management and coupons.
Two updates to Sparkforge memberships and courses: audio file support inside lessons, and a migration path from Offers V1 to V2 for richer payment handling.
Audio lessons in courses
Course creators can add audio files directly to lessons — useful for podcasts, language drills, guided practices, or any format better consumed as audio than video.
What's supported
- One-click upload: Add audio to any lesson without leaving the lesson editor.
- Multiple formats: MP3, AAC, WAV, and similar standard audio formats.
- Customizable playback: Listeners can adjust playback speed and other options.
- Responsive playback: Plays cleanly on desktops, tablets, and phones.
- Thumbnails: Audio thumbnails pull from the lesson thumbnail.
Snapshot and cloning for audio files aren't supported yet but are coming.
Offers V1 to V2 migration
Offers V2 moves payment processing onto Sparkforge's centralized payments system, which adds more gateways and better subscription tooling.
What V2 adds
- More payment gateways: V1 was Stripe-only. V2 supports Authorize.Net, NMI, Square, Razorpay, and more.
- Subscription management: Handle recurring charges, free trials, and subscription products without bolt-ons.
- Built-in coupons: Create and manage discount codes inside the offer instead of through external tools.
When to migrate
If you only sell one-time courses through Stripe, V1 still works. Migrate when you need a different gateway, want to run subscriptions, or need coupon management without third-party plugins.
