Manage Prospect Statuses in Sparkforge Prospecting

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge Prospecting now tracks prospect outcomes with Open, Closed Won, and Closed Lost statuses. Marking a prospect Closed Won in Agency Prospecting unlocks Create Sub-Account for fast onboarding.

Sparkforge Prospecting tracks the prospect lifecycle directly inside the tool. Mark each prospect as Open, Closed Won, or Closed Lost. Filter the list by status. And in Agency Prospecting, marking a prospect Closed Won unlocks Create Sub-Account so wins move into onboarding immediately.

What prospect status management gives you

  • Prospect Statuses: Open, Closed Won, Closed Lost.
  • Status filters: show only the lifecycle stage you care about.
  • Create Sub-Account on Closed Won in Agency Prospecting.
  • Getting Started card for new Prospecting users.

This closes a gap where Prospecting tracked lead generation but not what happened after outreach.

Why this matters

  • Track outcomes inside Prospecting instead of in spreadsheets.
  • Separate active leads from closed ones at a glance.
  • Identify won prospects that still need onboarding.
  • Connect Prospecting activity to sub-account creation in Agency view.
  • Onboard new Prospecting users faster with the guided card.

Update a prospect's status

  1. Open Prospecting.
  2. Open the Prospect Card for the record.
  3. Set the status to Open, Closed Won, or Closed Lost.

Filter prospects by status

  1. Go to your saved prospects list in Prospecting.
  2. Open the Status filter.
  3. Select Open, Closed Won, Closed Lost, Sub-Account Created, or Sub-Account Not Created.

The Getting Started card

New Prospecting users see a Getting Started card walking through the core actions:

  • Create your first prospect
  • Generate and share reports
  • Send prospects to CRM
  • Capture leads
  • Enable AI discovery

The card hides automatically once the user becomes active or dismisses it.

Status vs categories

Status and categories serve different purposes. Status tracks the prospect's outcome (Open / Won / Lost). Categories organize prospects by type or segment. Use them together rather than picking one.
