Issue Certificates in Sparkforge Workflows: Triggers and Actions

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Sparkforge workflows include a Certificate Issued trigger and an Issue Certificate action. Build them under Automations > Workflows to send certificates or react when one is issued.

The Issue Certificates trigger and action in workflows lets you automate certificate delivery or kick off downstream steps the moment a certificate is issued.

Add the Certificate Issued trigger

  1. Go to Automations > Workflows.
  2. Click Create a Workflow in the top right.
  3. Click Add New Trigger and search for Certificate Issued.

Add the Issue Certificate action

  1. Go to Automations > Workflows.
  2. Click Create a Workflow.
  3. Click Add New Action and search for Issue Certificate.

Every certificate issued through a workflow shows up in Membership > Certificates > Issued Certificates for easy reference.
