How the In-App Calendar View Works in Sparkforge
The in-app calendar view shows every appointment and synced third-party event in one place. Use Day or Month view, multi-select users, calendars, and groups, and lean on color coding and hover details to read schedules fast.
The in-app calendar view, accessed from the Calendar module, pulls every scheduled appointment and synced third-party event into one screen. It's built for managers running shared resources or multi-staff schedules.
Day view
Switch to Day to see users, calendars, or groups side-by-side as a horizontal list. In a user-based Day view, each selected user has their day calendar under their name, so open slots and conflicts are obvious at a glance.
Month view
Use Month to navigate forward without losing context.
Multi-select users, calendars, and groups
- Multi-User — pick multiple users; their appointments overlay on the same view.
- Multi-Calendar — consolidate appointments from multiple calendars into one display.
- Multi-Group — select calendar groups; every appointment inside them appears in one view.
Color coding
- Users — each user's appointments use a distinct color.
- Calendars and groups — colors follow your custom settings, so categories stay readable at scale.
Annotation key
An annotation key explains the icons and patterns used for events, so the meaning of each marker stays consistent across the team.
Persistent multi-select
Sparkforge remembers the calendars and users you had selected, so the next time you open the calendar your view is already filtered the way you left it.
Hover for details
Hover any appointment for the event type, title, and start/end times. No click required — useful when you're scanning a busy week.
