How to Use Form Embed Triggers, Layouts, and Deactivation in Sparkforge
Sparkforge form embed options control how forms render (sticky sidebar, slide-in, popup, inline) and when they appear or disappear based on scroll, time, visit count, or lead capture. Embed codes are static — regenerate the code after any change.
Sparkforge form embeds let you control layout, trigger timing, activation thresholds, and deactivation rules without touching code on your site. Use these settings to match the form to the user's intent: a polite slide-in for first-time visitors, a popup for time-sensitive offers, an inline form on a contact page.
Open the embed settings
- Build or open a form.
- Click Integrate at the top of the form builder.
- The embed configuration panel opens with layout, trigger, activation, and deactivation options.
Choose an embed layout
- Sticky sidebar — fixed to the left or right edge as the user scrolls. Can be minimized.
- Polite slide-in — slides in from the side. Less interruptive than a popup.
- Popup — modal overlay that requires dismissal. Highest attention, highest interruption.
- Inline — embeds in the page flow as a native element. No interruption.
Configure trigger options
Triggers control when the form first appears.
- Show on Scrolling X% — appears after the user scrolls past a threshold (e.g. 50%).
- Show After X Seconds — appears after a time delay.
- Always Show — visible immediately on load.
Set activation options
Activation controls how many visits before the form is eligible to show at all.
- Activate on X Visit — appears only on a specific visit number (e.g. third visit).
- Always Activated — eligible on every visit.
Set deactivation options
Deactivation controls when the form stops appearing.
- Deactivate After Showing X Times — caps total impressions.
- Deactivate Once Lead Is Collected — hides the form after a successful submission.
- Never Deactivate — runs indefinitely.
Copy the embed code
- Click Copy Embed Code for the HTML snippet, or Copy Form Link for a hosted URL.
- Paste the snippet into your site or funnel where you want the form to render.
Important: embed codes are static
Once pasted, the embed snippet does not pull updates from Sparkforge. If you change layout, triggers, or deactivation rules, regenerate the embed code and replace it on your site.
