How to Use Address Auto-Complete in Sparkforge Forms

Address Auto-Complete is included free and unlimited on every Sparkforge plan. When enabled, the Address field in your forms and surveys becomes a predictive search bar — as a lead types, real-world address suggestions appear and auto-fill Street, City, State, Country, and Postal Code in one click.

What Address Auto-Complete does

It replaces manual address entry with live suggestions pulled from a global address database. Selecting a suggestion populates every address sub-field at once, which means consistent formatting, fewer typos, and cleaner data feeding your workflows, segmentation, and reporting.

How to enable Auto-Complete on a form

1. Go to Sites → Forms (or Surveys) and open the builder.
2. Drag the Address element into your layout. The element is marked Updated to indicate Auto-Complete support.
3. Click the Address field to open the right-side settings panel.
4. Toggle Auto-Complete Address to ON.
5. (Optional) Toggle Mandatory to Select Address in Search Bar to ON if you want to force users to pick a validated suggestion before submitting.
6. Click Preview, type a partial street, and confirm suggestions appear and auto-fill correctly.
7. Click Save and publish.

Manual vs. mandatory selection

Leaving the mandatory toggle OFF lets users either pick a suggestion or type freely. Switching it ON locks submission to a verified pick — best when downstream automation depends on a clean address (delivery, dispatch, service area routing).
