Connect Outlook Calendar to Sparkforge: Setup Guide
Connect a Microsoft 365 or Outlook.com account in Sparkforge under Settings > Calendars > Connections. Once linked, Outlook events block your Sparkforge availability and bookings can sync back.
Connecting Outlook to Sparkforge keeps your real availability accurate. Bookings made in Sparkforge can write back to Outlook, and Outlook events show as busy time so clients can't book over them.
What the integration does
- Two-way event sync between Outlook and Sparkforge calendars
- Live availability — Outlook events block Sparkforge slots
- Connect the same Outlook account across multiple sub-accounts
- Connect more than one Outlook account per user
Prerequisites
- Active Microsoft 365 or Outlook.com account
- Logged into your Sparkforge user profile
- Writer access required to push events to Outlook
How to connect Outlook
Step 1: Open Calendar Connections
- In your sub-account, go to Settings.
- Under Business Services, select Calendars.
- Open the Connections tab and click + Add New.
Step 2: Authenticate with Outlook
- Click Connect next to Outlook Calendar.
- Sign in to your Outlook account.
- Accept the requested permissions.
What's supported
- Supported: Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online accounts, Outlook.com, live.com, and hotmail calendars
- Not supported: stand-alone or on-premises Microsoft Exchange servers, Outlook Desktop events that aren't synced to the cloud
Fixing a deleted Outlook calendar
If a connected Outlook calendar is deleted on Microsoft's side, Sparkforge shows an error banner. Click Fix This on the banner to review the affected calendar instances, then choose Remove Deleted Calendars to clean up the broken connections.
Limits
Outlook integration does not work with event calendars — event calendars only support Google. Disconnecting Outlook stops availability and event data from flowing in either direction, which will break calendar-based scheduling that depends on it.
