How to Add Direct Checkout Links in Email Campaigns

By Sparkforge Support Team ·Last reviewed May 3, 2026

Direct checkout in Sparkforge email campaigns lets you generate a unique payment link for each product and customize its checkout page. Purchases flow back into campaign and conversion stats automatically.

Sparkforge email campaigns now support direct checkout links on product elements. Instead of pointing customers at a generic URL, you can generate a per-product payment link and customize the checkout page for each one inside the same campaign.

What changed

Previously, product elements in emails could only redirect to a single generic URL. There was no way to tailor the checkout per product. Now every product element can carry its own direct payment link, and every purchase reports back into your campaign and conversion metrics.

Benefits

  • Faster setup of product elements in email campaigns.
  • Custom checkout page per product, even within the same campaign.
  • Conversions tracked automatically against the campaign that drove them.

How to set it up

  1. Open the email marketing section.
  2. Create a new email campaign.
  3. Drop in a product element and select Direct Checkout.
  4. Click the link icon next to the product to open the checkout page editor.
  5. Adjust the checkout page layout and save.
  6. Send a test email and complete a purchase to confirm tracking lands in campaign stats.

Tip

If you sell several products in one email, give each one its own checkout layout. Tighter, product-specific checkouts convert better than one generic page reused everywhere.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a separate campaign for each product?
No. One email campaign can include multiple product elements, each with its own direct checkout link and custom checkout page.
Where do purchases show up?
Purchases roll into the same campaign's conversion and revenue stats automatically — no manual attribution required.
Can I still use a generic URL instead of direct checkout?
Yes. The product element still supports generic URL redirects if you'd rather send traffic to an external page.
How do I test before sending?
Send a test email to yourself, click through the product element, and walk the checkout to verify the page layout and tracking.
